Cafs is calling for Community Advisory Committee members

08 Nov 24

Cafs is putting the call out for members of the public to participate as part of the organisations Community Advisory Committee.

The committee meets in person quarterly and the voluntary positions are for an initial 12-month term. Participants do not have to have experienced Cafs services, rather demonstrate a commitment to making a difference to vulnerable children and families across the Central Highlands.

Wendy Sturgess, CEO, Cafs

We are looking for people who have an interest in the issues impacting the cities and towns across the Central Highlands, want to make a difference to the community they live in and have around 90 minutes every three months to provide feedback on our activities and profile in the community.

Wendy Sturgess, CEO, Cafs
Jayne Ferguson, Committee Chair & Cafs Board Member

Our Community Advisory Committee has an important role to play. Participants offer an individual perspective and reflect community views regarding Cafs services and operations.
