We achieve this through providing a fair and inclusive workplace, and in playing a strong role in our community.
Every year, we help nearly 7,000 individuals and families across the Grampians and Central Highlands, to be safe, well-housed, and connected to work, school and the wider community.
Making a real difference in people’s lives
Over 16 decades, we have helped to care for people in our community who have experienced tough times and trauma.
We work in partnership with you and your family to give you the support you need to make informed decisions. Our programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of our local community.
We measure our impact by tracking our effectiveness against the goals we’ve set. These goals help us stay focused on what matters most; making a real difference for the people and communities we support.
Cafs is also part of a collective impact network, which brings together community members, organisations and institutions across Australia who understand the need to work together to address complex issues like homelessness and mental health issues.
Violence has a devastating impact on women’s lives, too often pushing them into homelessness, unstable housing, job loss, poor health, child removal, and contact with the justice system. Across all our programs, we’re not just responding to these effects, we’re working to stop violence before it starts.
Cafs is proud to be a member of No to Violence, the national peak body for organisations and practitioners working with men to end family violence.
This membership reflects our deep commitment to evidence-based practice, accountability, and safety for women, children and families.
Let’s build a better future, together.
Whether you’re reaching out for support, seeking more information or looking to give back, partner, join or volunteer, we’d love to hear from you.
