Thread Together

New clothes can mean the world to a person in need – it can help them get a new job, keep their children warm, or refill their wardrobe after fleeing family violence with nothing. Cafs’ Thread Together clothing hub gives people in need that security by providing brand-new clothing donated by Australian retailers.

As the end of the year approaches, Cafs is reaching out to the community to ask for support for its Thread Together clothing hub. Whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps us keep helping our vulnerable clients obtain new clothing. The added bonus is you’ll be able to claim on your donation* straight away.

If you would like to help a person in need with new clothing, please *donate to our Thread Together clothing hub this year. You’ll receive a tax invoice via email immediately.

*for donations of $2 or more.

Thread Together Ballarat

Cafs has launched a fantastic new partnership with Thread Together to provide people in need across the Ballarat region with brand-new clothing and accessories. Thread Together is a not-for-profit organisation driving social and environmental change by redistributing excess clothing stock through purpose-designed clothing hubs. Without Thread Together, many of these items would end up in landfill.

Through the Cafs’ Thread Together hub, those in need are given a referral to be able to shop (for free) for a new outfit.

Thread Together hubs are designed to enable customers to build trust and rapport within a dignified, safe and positive environment. Cafs is very proud to be partnering with Thread Together to be the first to launch this community service program in regional Victoria.
