WHERE YOUR DONATION GOES

THREAD TOGETHER
New clothes can mean the world to a person in need – it can help them get a new job, keep their children warm, or refill their wardrobe after fleeing family violence with nothing. Cafs’ Thread Together clothing program gives people in need that security by providing brand-new clothing donated by Australian retailers.
Thread Together is a not-for-profit organisation driving social and environmental change by redistributing excess clothing stock through purpose-designed clothing hubs. Without Thread Together, many of these items would end up in landfill.
Thread Together hubs are designed to enable customers to build trust and rapport within a dignified, safe and positive environment.

CAFS CARE FUND
The Cafs Care Fund exists to support children and young people in our care who don’t have the support of parents or family. Many of these young people are unable to access government funding for essential and enriching experiences like education, training, sports, and creative activities.
Your EOFY donation can help provide:
• School supplies and uniforms
• Sporting equipment and club fees
• Access to training and extracurricular programs.
We also strive to create safe, nurturing, and homely environments in our Residency housing. Through the Care Fund, we provide resources like comfortable furnishings, trampolines, and vegetable gardens—elements that help transform our Residency housing into homes.

CAFS INCUBATOR
The Cafs Incubator is dedicated to fostering innovation and continuous improvement in the ways we support children and young people. It serves as a platform for developing and trialling new approaches that enhance our services and outcomes.
By making a contribution to the Incubator, you are directly supporting the design and implementation of pilot programs that explore innovative and forward-thinking solutions to complex challenges. These programs enable Cafs to develop new models of care and engagement, while also supporting research and evaluation efforts that inform evidence-based practice.
Your end-of-financial-year donation will help ensure that Cafs remains adaptive, responsive, and at the forefront of best practice in the sector. Through your support, we can continue to think differently, act boldly, and lead meaningful change in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
