When you nominate to Cafs, you are supporting an organisation with deep roots in Ballarat and the entire region.
We understand our local community and are uniquely placed to offer a rich range of services to support vulnerable members of the communities across the Central Highlands.
Workplace giving is when employees make regular donations to a charity from pre-tax pay. It is a great way to have a group of people fundraise for a similar cause.
You simply choose the amount you want to donate from each pay, make arrangements with your employer/ payroll and we will take care of the rest.

CAFS ARE NOW A RECIPIENT OF FUNDS FROM THE VIC WEST CONTAINER DEPOSIT SCHEME
Would you like to fundraise for Cafs when using the CDS Vic West app at any of the container deposit stations?
Anyone in the West zones can now donate directly to Cafs using the CDS Vic West app from any machine.
Instructions as follows:
- Open the CDS Vic West app and create your personal profile (download the FREE app HERE).
-Look up Cafs Thread Together Clothing Program under the “Charities” Menu on the homepage of the app.
-Scroll down and press “Set as Payout” on our campaign/charity page.
-Scan the app at the machine & start returning bottles and cans.
-Press “TRANSFER” on the machine screen when finished!
Please note: 100% of the refunds donated will be transferred to Cafs Thread Together program.
