“I’m on the pension and have just enough to survive until the next pay. Op shops aren’t my cup of tea, but here you get all the new stuff, never worn. The clothes I get from Thread Together keep me going through the seasons, I wouldn’t be able to afford new clothes otherwise.

The volunteers here are marvellous. They’re really helpful, they find clothes that will fit and keep me comfortable.

It makes me feel wonderful. You have a shower and put on the new clothes and you feel like a Toff. I like to get dressed up and go out.”
