Cafs Storm Recovery Program is assisting locals in need.

Cafs Storm Recovery Program is one of five community organisations to be funded through the Victorian Government for people needing assistance. Cafs Financial Counselling team encourage those affected to reach out.

Cafs' annual Christmas Appeal has wrapped for 2021. The aim of this appeal was to provide disadvantaged and vulnerable children with the joy and love that everyone should experience at this time of year. ⁠

Cafs wins big at 2021 Australian Human Resources Institute Awards

Last night, Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) was recognized with four wins from four nominations at the Annual AHRI National Awards. Cafs took out top honours in two individual awards and in two organisational categories

Cafs re-signs as a partner of the CoRE Alliance

On Monday 15th November Cafs CEO, Wendy Sturgess officially re-signed as an Alliance Partner of the CoRE Alliance. CoRE Alliance is a partnership of organisations, businesses, clubs and groups who share a vision for safe, equal and respectful communities in the Grampians region and it was introduced in 2016 by Women’s Health Grampians.

Cafs Thread Together hub is now in Ballarat

Cafs is proud to now have launched Thread Together in Ballarat. The new hub will help supply those who need it with new clothing. The Ballarat store is unique in that it's the first to launch in regional Victoria. Thread Together is a not-for-profit organisation driving social and environmental change by redistributing excess clothing stock through purpose-designed clothing hubs.

Indigenous Outreach Project – “Don’t Give Up On Yourself”

Ballarat & District Aboriginal Cooperative (BADAC) and Cafs had Indigenous Outreach Projects come out to their region to work with their local Berry Street kids to make a powerful music video. The video created highlights the need to take time out from our screens get out for exercise, hang out with mates and connect to country.
